Step 1:

Visit the Almeda Location

C&D Scrap Metal Almeda is conveniently located on at HWY 288 and W Airport. Traveling west-bound on West Airport, take a right on Almeda Rd. C&D Scrap Metal is on your left before you reach Reed Rd. 

Step 2:

Meet Our Friendly Greeter

Upon arrival, meet our friendly greeter at the check-In booth near the entrance. They will verify or create a new account for you and assist you with any questions you may have.

Step 3a:

Ferrous Metals: Drive On To The Scale

When instructed by the Customer Support Specialist, drive on to the Inbound Scale to get an exact weight. 

Step 3b:

Non-Ferrous Metals: Drive Thru Our Indoor Unloading Area

When instructed by the greeter, drive through our indoor non-ferrous area to receive our white glove unloading service. 

Step 4:

Get Cash For Your Scrap Metal!

After materials have been assessed a ticket will be provided to the customer where they may cash out in the cashier’s office to get paid in $2 bills!

Valid State ID

Must bring a valid State issued Identification card or Driver's License to recycle with C&D Scrap Metal at all locations. Please ensure that your card is not expired.

Title & Proof of Ownership

If you're bringing a vehicle to be scrapped, make sure you bring the appropriate documentation to prove ownership including the vehicle title.

What Not To Bring

Explosives

Any items that can explode under heat and pressure including Flammable Liquids, Gas Bottles, and Pressurized Cylinders.

Toxic Materials

Toxic Materials include Corrosive liquids, Radioactive material, Poisonous substances and Asbestos

Non-Metal Items

C&D Scrap Metal is a Metal Recycling facility. We do not accept any other junk, scrap or refuse of a non-metallic nature.

Shopping Carts

Please do not bring shopping carts on or around the property. It is against the laws and ordinances of the City of Houston.
